Sanguis Venenatus received a second performance during a service in London’s Westminster Abbey with the strings of the London Charity Orchestra under William Carslake. The service, held on Wednesday, 30th March, 2011, celebrated the 40th anniversary of the enactment of the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act (1970), pioneering legislation introduced by the late Lord Morris of Manchester (Alf Morris on Wikipedia). |
