Eagle Wood (2026)
For Piano and 30 Strings Marija Vrskova (Piano) | FAME'S Skopje Studio Orchestra | Arber Curri (Conductor) A contemporary classical work holding deep personal significance, serving as a musical memorial for singer and painter Yvonne I. Lee. The piece etymologically honours March's roots in Warwickshire, taking its title from the Old English translation of the historic hamlet Old Arley (earn — eagle, and lēah — wood or clearing). The 10-and-a-half-minute composition mirrors cycles of determination, illness, and remission, before ultimately yielding to a peaceful, soaring resolution. Your Eyes Fall Upon Us (2015) a choral anthem for remembrance, with text adaptation by Sue Threakall. The anthem was recorded on 25 September 2023 with the First Readings Project under conductor J. David Moore at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Minneapolis, MN.
